Cybersecurity is like having a superhero shield online. It’s the steps you take to protect your accounts, information and devices from troublemakers on the internet.
What is a password?
Passwords are secret codes you create to protect your accounts. They’re a special key only you know, so you can unlock your games and other stuff you want to keep private.
The rules in real life apply on the internet too
- Look both ways when crossing the street or watching for scams
- Don’t talk to strangers in the real world or online
- Just like you lock your bike, make sure to protect your accounts and devices
- If something bad happens, tell a trusted adult right away
